The Technorama enables experiences with hundreds of phenomena of nature and technology. At countless experimental stations visitors can lend a hand and experience and manipulate natural phenomena with all their senses in order to understand the world in the double sense of the word.
Unlike in a museum, you can touch everything in the Technorama and play with it and experiment with it. Learning in the Science Center is playful through the immediate experience of natural phenomena, through art that touches us, through challenges we face in laboratories and adventure rooms, through dialogue with family and friends, or through building our own machines in the inventor workshop.

The Technorama Is About Authentic Experience
We do not use simulations and pretend nothing. But we also need to be aware that our image of the world is an interpretation of sensory perceptions and experiences of our brain. The better VR applications are able to simulate these sensory perceptions, the more blurring the boundaries between physical reality and virtual reality. VR is a challenge insofar as it simulates reality, but this reality is authentically experienced.
