CES 2019 is again setting new records. Interesting gadget introductions, in line with the current technology boom. Last year, according to a stud, million euros were spent worldwide on consumer smartphones and consumer electronics. European consumers accounted for 25 percent of these sales. The trend is in almost all categories to premium products that are user-friendly and networked.
New Technology
Sphero is known for its small intelligent coding learning robots. The company took over the Startup Specdrums. With the first product, it is possible to make music as a layman on virtually any surface, thanks to smart rings. In addition you tap on smart rings. The rings detect color and movement differences via the acceleration sensor. Together with the (iOS) app, music is made as easy as the video shows very well.
Withings Bpm Core
According to Withing’s, the company’s wearables category has been honored with the CES Innovation Award. It combines blood pressure measurement with an ECG to detect atrial fibrillation and digital stethoscope. The early warning system should work according to the French manufacturer with clinical precision. The three measurements are carried out within 90 seconds in succession, even individual queries are possible. The measurement results are displayed in the free Withings Health app and can be shared via e-mail.
While the competition so strongly stirs the drum at the beginning of the year in its own right, Apple remains the CES – already traditional ,far away. Because around the corner of the fair, Apple has then spoken up. In the form of a small guerilla campaign, the company has installed a XXL poster on a skyscraper: “What happens on your iPhone, stays on your iPhone” is there to read, with a link reference to the privacy special page of Apple.
In addition, the long-standing opponent Samsung on the edge of CES announced a surprising partnership with Apple. iTunes movies and series and the Apple TV app will be integrated into all new Samsung TV models in the future. Models from 2019 will be retrofitted via software update. This eliminates the detour via Apple TV. Integration into other devices from other manufacturers is also planned.
