The Mobile World Congress takes place for just a week. The most important mobile communications fair in the world. The important press conferences where the biggest manufacturers presented with their novelties.
This Year Is The Big Duel Between Samsung And Huawei
Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Fold model in addition to the Galaxy S10 in advance at its own unpacked event, Huawei showing the Mate X at the show. At the MWC 2019 is so well again something going on – also thanks to more news from Sony and LG.
Samsung presented its Galaxy novelties shortly before the MWC at its own event “Galaxy Unpacked 2019” and thus came before the most important smartphone fair of the year. Highlight of the evening was the foldable Galaxy Fold – unlike the Huawei Mate X is the large display on the inside and not on the outside. But also the fresh cell phone top model Galaxy S10 caused a great deal of enthusiasm. But that was not all: with the Smartwatch Galaxy Watch Active, the headphones Galaxy Buds and the fitness bracelets Galaxy Fit ,the manufacturer had even more equipment in their luggage.
Smartphones With 5G Connection
Not only foldable devices, long drawn displays and notches are currently in the smartphone world. 5G is also a big topic at the MWC 2019. The LTE successor is to accelerate mobile connections drastically. 5G is already available in some US cities, and the required frequencies will soon be auctioned off in Germany. To the fair there are several smartphones to see, which build connections via 5G. Such as the foldable Huawei Mate X, the LG V50 ThinQ with second display for plugging, the ZTE Axon 10 Pro 5G.
There Is A Lot Going On In The Area Of Mobile Communications
Especially the fresh standard WLAN-ax will improve a lot: With a terminal that dominates ax, the pace increases drastically, neighboring routers impede each other less strongly when sparks. Also quite new are mesh functions that make the home network more intelligent, for example, by always connecting terminals to the best access point. Lastly, mobile connections with the LTE successor 5G should accelerate greatly.
