Refund & Return Policy
This Policy explains when refunds may be available for WTTM purchases, how refunds are processed through Stripe or banking partners (including JSC Oktobank), and common exclusions for digital and commercial services.
Effective date: 27 April 2026
1. General principle
Refund eligibility depends on the product type, delivery/activation status, contractual terms shown at purchase, applicable consumer law, and payment method rules. Many WTTM services are bespoke, time-bound, or digital in nature; therefore refunds are often limited after performance begins.
2. Card payments processed via Stripe
Where Stripe processed your card payment, refunds—when approved—are generally initiated back to Stripe and returned to the original payment method subject to issuer posting timelines. Partial refunds may be used where only part of an order is reversed.
Stripe’s ability to refund can depend on charge age, currency, dispute state, and network rules. WTTM cannot force an issuer to post credits on a particular schedule.
3. Visa and Mastercard chargebacks (issuer-led)
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank, the outcome is decided under Visa/Mastercard rules and issuer/acquirer processes. WTTM will respond with evidence where permitted.
Chargebacks must not be used as a substitute for ordinary cancellation where a valid contractual obligation exists; misuse may lead to account closure and recovery of costs where lawful.
4. Bank transfers involving JSC Oktobank
If you paid via bank transfer to an account instructed by WTTM involving JSC Oktobank, refunds—when approved—may be processed via bank transfer subject to verification, AML checks, correspondent banking timelines, and deduction of wire fees where permitted.
You must provide accurate banking details; WTTM is not liable for losses caused by incorrect customer-supplied IBAN/account data.
5. Product-specific refund rules
Event tickets: refunds depend on the cancellation window published for the relevant event. Tickets may become non-refundable close to the event date or after badge issuance.
Memberships and WTTM Card: fees for activated or elapsed periods are generally non-refundable. Auto-renewal cancellations stop future billing but do not retroactively refund prior periods unless required by law.
Advertising placements: non-refundable after creative approval, inventory reservation, or campaign go-live.
Partner and exhibitor packages: subject to written schedules; booth allocation, production, and third-party costs already incurred may be deducted from any approved credit or refund.
6. Typically refundable scenarios (non-binding examples)
Examples may include: duplicate charges caused by a verified technical error; failure to deliver a prepaid digital entitlement where no fault lies with the customer and no exclusion applies; cancellation by WTTM of an event product where the customer is not at fault; or other scenarios expressly stated in writing at purchase.
Examples are illustrative only; each case is assessed individually.
7. Typically non-refundable scenarios
Examples may include: services already activated, delivered, published, or used; advertising placements after publication; exhibitor packages after booth allocation deadlines; personalised creative work delivered; membership after access granted; fees for compliance reviews already performed; and third-party costs already incurred by WTTM on your behalf.
Non-refundable items will often be labelled at checkout.
8. Request procedure and evidence
Email [email protected] with: order ID; payer name; payment date; payment method; screenshots/receipts; and a clear explanation. We may request identity verification to prevent fraud.
Incomplete requests may be delayed or declined.
9. Processing timelines
Approved refunds are typically initiated within 7–14 business days, but settlement may take longer depending on banks, weekends, holidays, currency conversion, and network clearing.
Where approved, refunds are returned to the original payment method whenever technically possible for the payment rail used.
No interest accrues on refunded amounts unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
10. Currency and FX
If a refund is processed in a currency different from the original charge, FX differences may apply based on bank/Stripe rates at processing time. You accept that minor differences can occur.
11. Changes
WTTM may update this Policy. The version applicable to your purchase is generally the version in effect at the time of purchase, unless law requires applying updated consumer protections.
